Job Summary:

 

The Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe and professional delivery of major household appliances to customer homes. This role handles loading, transporting, staging, basic connections, and haul away while maintaining high standards of safety, accuracy, and customer service. Delivery Drivers work in teams, support installers when needed, and ensure merchandise is handled with care from warehouse to home.

 

            

·        Load, secure, transport, and deliver major appliances safely and efficiently

·        Navigate stair carries, tight hallways, door removals, and in home maneuvering

·        Perform basic disconnects such as water and electric when needed

·        Support basic appliance placements and simple installations as allowed

·        Assist Appliance Installers during complex or heavy jobs

·        Conduct haul away of old appliances in accordance with safety guidelines

·        Provide call a heads and communicate expected arrival times

·        Review delivery instructions, verify product fitment, and confirm order accuracy

·        Take required delivery photos and document outcomes in Dispatch Track

·        Ensure safe driving practices and compliance with all transportation laws

·        Maintain delivery truck, equipment, protective gear, and tools

·        Communicate professionally with customers and handle questions respectfully

·        Escalate issues related to safety, incomplete access, or product damage

·        Communicate effectively with any concerns with company provided vehicles with Fleet Management, both cosmetic and mechanical

·        Follow established company procedures and safety protocols

·        Complete additional duties as assigned

 

 

 

·        Experience in appliance delivery, moving, or logistics preferred

·        Ability to safely lift and maneuver large appliances with appropriate equipment

·        Strong customer service and communication skills

·        Valid driver license with clean driving record

·        Ability to follow routing instructions and scheduling requirements

·        Comfortable performing basic disconnects and handling simple installations

·        Strong attention to safety, accuracy, and teamwork

 

 

 

·        Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy appliances with assistance

·        Frequent bending, pushing, pulling, and stair climbing

·        Ability to work inside customer homes and various environments

·        Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and drive long distances

 

 

·        Work is performed in customer homes, delivery trucks, and warehouse settings

·        Fast paced environment with physical demands

·        Frequent interaction with customers, installers, warehouse teams, and leadership
